After months of waiting to see exactly what he would do once he took the floor following an Achilles injury which cost him the bulk of one of the most productive seasons of his professional career, Cousins took the floor for the first time as a member of the Golden State Warriors on Friday night and it did not take long for him to make his presence felt.
Whether it’s scoring on an emphatic slam dunk on his first basket as a member of the Warriors, notching three fouls in just six minutes of playing time or nailing his first three-point attempt, Cousins has done it all tonight versus the Los Angeles Clippers in his team debut.
Check out this catch-and-shoot three-pointer by Cousins.

While the Warriors will clearly bring Cousins along slowly given the type of injury he is coming back from, the fact that he was able to show this type of explosion right off of the bat is extremely encouraging for Golden State fans as this is the best big man they have had on their roster since Steve Kerr took over as head coach.
