Watch: Steph Curry’s mad skills proves to be harmful with 0.2 seconds left

As they say, once a shooter, always a shooter. In the case of Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry, his shot-making prowess turned out to be too accurate for his own good.

With two-tenths of a second left in regulation against the Portland Trail Blazers, Curry was the designated inbounder as Golden State prepared for an Andre Iguodala tip-in. The screens were set, Iguodala got loose, and the ball looked to perfectly land near the rim for the game-winner.

Unfortunately, this happened:

Well, there goes a set play off of Steve Kerr’s stash, now ready to be studied by opponents.

Maybe it’s time for Stephen Curry to hold himself back with all the insane trick shots. It’s crazier to think that the Warriors guard is so good of a shooter that the ball finds the bottom of the net even when he doesn’t intend to.

While they were all smiles after what transpired, the Warriors weren’t feeling so good about themselves after the game as they lost this one to Portland, 110-109. It was a cardiac contest that ended up with Damian Lillard — an Oakland native — hitting the game-winning three-pointer for the visitors.

Sans the crucial blunder, Stephen Curry had himself a splendid night, tallying 29 points, five rebounds, seven assists, two blocks, and two steals. He shot the ball uncharacteristically as he finished with an 11-of-26 clip from the field.

The Warriors have lost back-to-back games and are now 2-3 over their last five contests.
