Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry is a proud father of two daughters and he went out of his way to make the day of one young girl from California who is a big fan of his this week by helping make his signature Under Armour shoe available to both men and women on the company’s website.
As you can see from the letters below, Curry received a hand written note from a young girl named Riley Morrison explaining how she was hoping to purchase a pair of Stephen’s signature shoes for her upcoming basketball season but found that there were no sneakers available in girls sizes which prompted her to personally reach out to the two-time league MVP in order to see if there was anything he could do to help right this wrong.
As you can see, Curry did not only that but much more as he promised to provide Riley with a pair of the Curry 6’s once they come out, in addition to securing her a pair of the Curry 5’s which she was hoping to purchase for her upcoming basketball season, while also inviting her and her family to Oakland for an event on International Women’s Day on March 8th so that they can celebrate the occasion with Stephen and his family.
Hard not to be impressed with this classy gesture from one of the best players that the game has to offer.
