The summer of 2017 saw Klay Thompson have an epic fail by botching a 360-dunk on his trip to China, but this year, Stephen Curry is taking the lead when it comes to Warriors offseason fails by losing in his own Under Armour Asia Tour skills challenge.
Curry couldn’t get the pass to go in the ring and set himself back for the last leg of his own skills challenge, losing to Filipino player Peter June Simon, as he nailed the winning 3-point shot before Curry could get past the dribbling dummies.
It seems like Curry has some rust to shake off when it comes to his passing accuracy, but it would have been even more embarrassing to lose a 3-point shootout in front of that adoring Manila crowd.
Guess he can’t have them all. Better luck next time, Steph.
